Cookie season is almost over...
Whew, I am exhausted! Only one more booth sale, and I have high hopes that we will be all cleaned out at the end. Thank you, Laura, for offering to run it, and JH and AM for showing up Saturday 12-3 at Vons. Our girls deserve a big round of applause for all their hard work, and a big pat on the back to you parents, too. Your girls are getting so big and capable, but we know they still rely on you for rides, reminders and general support. Your efforts don't go unnoticed!
We all had a great time last night at Seussical! It was perfect for our little girls, and your daughters did a great job chaperoning. They sat up front on mats with two smalls for each big girl. I know all the girls, big and small enjoyed it, and we will probably continue to organize events to include kids from these two troops as well as Laura's other Brownie/Junior troop. Being a mentor is part of being a leader, and an important component of Girl Scouts.
We'll continue on with our regularly scheduled meetings (see posted), and take a breather after a cookie season, holding off on extra activities until after spring break. After spring break we will be hosting the SAMME (Significant Adult Male and Me) Dance on April 24th, and possibly participating in the city Arbor Day festivities on April 25th. We were thinking of making a sleepover of it. More info to come as the date approaches, but the SAMME is set, so put that one on your calendar.

Girl Scout Thursdays
Hi, all
So, I hope you have all heard we have switched our meeting times to every other Thursday, starting tomorrow, March 5th, 3:30 to 5:30.
I still don't have girls signed up for cookie booths. Help me out here. :)

What Do You Think?
Hey Everybody!
it's elizabeth. I was wondering what you guys thought about keeping the widget I posted? it's called a brand new year. I like it, but I would also like to know what you guys think. My favorite songs are Youth All Over The World, Say Yes, and Shine The Light. Listen to them, give them a try. Yes, or no? Whatever you choose, I don't mind. What about the Background? If you don't like it, we can change it? Give us a post, and let me know what you think! Thanks!

Change of Meeting Dates?
Hi, all
We are considering changing our meeting dates to every other Thursday starting this upcoming Thursday, March 5th. We would be able to hold them for 2 hours again, from 3:30 to 5:30. How does that work for you all?

Hello, girls and parents!
I have set up this blog to give you a constant place to see what is new with us, and keep up on important dates, etc. I will check comments regularly, and all are welcome to leave them so we can get discussions going. Up next, as you all know, are cookie sales in full swing. The dates for the sales are as follows:
Fri, Feb 27 6:15-9pm Vons
Fri, Mar 6 3:30-6pm Washinton Mutual
Sat, Mar 7 6-9pm Hollywood Video
Fri, Mar 13 6:15-9pm Vons
